I tutor AP Calculus AB and BC for students at American-curriculum schools across the city. I focus on solid algebra and precalc foundations before tackling limits, derivatives and integrals. Lessons are usually online in the evenings, built around past FRQs and multiple-choice practice, with short written summaries after each session so students know exactly what to revise next.

I’m an AP English Language tutor, working mainly with juniors aiming for strong essay scores. In sessions we pick apart sample passages, build outlines and practise writing introductions that actually answer the prompt. I also help students balance AP coursework with SAT writing prep, so their style feels consistent across school and exam essays. Most of my students attend American-curriculum schools in Abu Dhabi and we plan work around their actual class assignments.

I teach AP Biology and have been working with students for nearly a decade. My favourite units are cellular respiration, genetics and ecology, and I spend a lot of time on data-based questions and experimental design. Many of my students send lab reports for feedback between lessons so we can tidy methods and conclusions before submission. I also help them plan realistic revision schedules in the run-up to the May exam.

I like to demystify topics like equilibrium, kinetics and electrochemistry using step-by-step problem sets and quick concept checks. Close to the exam, we run timed FRQ blocks and I show students how to phrase answers the way College Board mark schemes expect. Students often tell me chemistry feels less like memorising and more like solving small puzzles once we work this way.

I’m an AP Physics 1 and 2 tutor working online from Khalifa City. My background is in mechanical engineering, so I’m very comfortable with kinematics, forces and rotational motion. Lessons are practical, with lots of diagrams and real examples from everyday life in the UAE. We also spend time on free-response formatting, significant figures and units, which quietly cost many students marks. Most of my students are in Grade 10 or 11 at local American schools.
